TIMBRE COLLECTION
The TIMBRE serie is thrown on the potters wheel, in different kinds of stoneware clays, which means that every piece is unique.
Each clay is selected for their special color, structure and effect on the different glazes that are applied on top.
The finished appearance is a collaboration between clay, shape and glaze in unity.
The name TIMBRE refers to the various sounds one musical note can have, coming from different kinds of instruments – same with the quite different appearances of one particular glaze, when exposed to various clays, shapes, thicknesses, firing temperatures etc.
All pieces are water tight and all pieces are made by hand by Tina Marie Copenhagen.
